KS Student Center Ribbon Cutting

Yesterday we celebrated with a ribbon cutting for the amazing new Kendra Scott Student Center at UT. Such an incredible space, complete with Kendra's unique aesthetic, and designed for student collaboration and mentorship. It is located on the first floor of our College of Fine Arts Library building. The most inspiring moments were in celebration of our Seniors' accomplishments from the KS Student Advisory Board, despite the many challenges of this past year. These young women (and one man) are future change-makers, and my heart soars with the honor to have come alongside them. Everyone was still masked and social distancing, but what a THRILL to be together in the flesh for the first time in a year (so bizarre). Though we had to keep the crowd small for now, all of the KS leadership team were there, President Hartzell, several deans, and partners at DELL, cheering on tomorrow's female entrepreneurs and leaders. #HookEm! #utcollegeoffinearts #utcreatives
